STC Project of the Year Award 2022 (Commercial Category) – The GREEN

The first award was given for to the short-term installation “The GREEN” at Lincoln Center. SYNLawn New York owner Anastasia Phillips and American set designer Mimi Lien teamed up to take on the Lincoln Center restart stages with their incredible synthetic turf installation, “The GREEN.”
After the COVID-19 pandemic shut down public spaces to the more than 5 million visitors of the Lincoln Center, these two incredible women knew they could bring the Lincoln Center back to life with the stunning appearances of ultra-realistic and plant-based New York artificial grass from SYNLawn.
Together, the team was able to welcome back visitors of Lincoln Center by transforming the outdoor campus into a temporary public art installation, bringing cultural engagement back to the public spaces. Mimi Lien and the SYNLawn team designed a temporary 14,000 square feet bio-based synthetic turf installation that was donated and installed to retrofit the courtyard of the outdoor plaza and provide guests relaxation, recreation, and entertainment.

STC Philanthropy Award 2022 – Farmers on the Green
SYNLawn New York won the 2022 Philanthropy Award for their “Farmers on the Green” event back in July of 2021. SYNLawn supported the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem by cohosting more than 300 guests at the private stem educational event. Farmers on the Green also took place outside a historical school building where the company donated and installed a soy, bio-based synthetic grass installation.
SYNLawn embraced the opportunity for donating synthetic turf and bringing in an agricultural partner to expose promising youth to the importance of American soy farmers and the impact they have on various types of eco-friendly products including SYNLawn synthetic turf.
SYNLawn was also recognized for demonstrating outstanding support of charitable causes and community outreach by providing funds, goods, and services as well as setting an exceptional example for others to follow.
